AIS annual test report
Documents the required annual test for an applicable vessel and is retained aboard. Confirm the authorized testing arrangement.
VDR / S-VDR APT records
Follow the approved testing and manufacturer review process. The resulting compliance document is distinct from a ship’s statutory or class certificate.
LRIT conformance report
Comes through the Administration or its authorized testing application service provider. Flag requirements govern the accepted route.
Statutory & class certificates
Issued or endorsed by the relevant Administration or authorized organization. Electronic format does not change that issuing authority.
PELASTRION’s role
Scope the requirement, organize technical work and evidence, and coordinate the agreed document delivery. Corporate approvals remain pending.

IMO’s joint electronic-certificate guidance was updated on 1 June 2026. A scanned paper record or an unverified QR code alone does not establish an authentic issuer certificate.
01 · Identify the record
Match the vessel, certificate type, issuer, reference, issue and expiry dates, and required endorsements.
02 · Check authenticity
Use the issuer’s official verification process. Confirm the tracking number and electronic signature or other verification data specified by the issuer.
03 · Preserve the original
Retain the issued electronic file and its verification instructions. Avoid edits that could invalidate or obscure issuer authentication.
04 · Keep it accessible
Make the document and verification instructions available aboard. Keep endorsement and renewal status current within the vessel’s document-control process.
