Start with a useful minimum
For each asset, capture vessel, system category, manufacturer, model, serial, and a known service reference. Add only reliable facts; distinguish missing information from confirmed details.
Keep date sources visible
Enter due dates only from existing controlled records, manufacturer instructions, or responsible authority confirmation. Include the source. The assistant does not calculate certificate validity or monitor compliance.
Choose a record owner
Identify who will maintain the official register and reconcile service reports. Browser-local files are not shared with the desk and do not synchronize across devices. Export deliberately, store the file appropriately, and clear local copies on shared devices.
