Describe an intermittent radio problem

An intermittent symptom is easier to investigate when the inquiry records when it occurs and what else was happening. Observation is useful; deliberately provoking a failure is not.

Create a simple event record

Record date, local time and offset, equipment in use, displayed alarms, and the observed symptom. Distinguish a report of poor audio from a power loss, display fault, or external communication problem.

Describe recent changes

Mention only changes already known: an installation, recent service, power event, or reported interference. Include an existing service reference. Avoid labelling a component as failed without a diagnosis.

Agree a safe next step

The service desk can assess whether remote review, planned attendance, or another approved route is appropriate. Do not change transmit power, frequencies, identity data, or antenna connections to reproduce the issue.
